SWIMMING PROGRAM - PREPS TO YEAR 3
During Term 4, all prep to year 3 students will be engaged in our school swimming program. This program involves five individual
swim lessons at the Pat Wright Swimming Pool with tuition from qualified coaches. Classroom teachers have a detailed copy of the
timetable and will remind students the day before their swimming lessons.

Swimmers, towels, etc are brought to school each day of swimming. The Swim School encourages all students with hair below their ears to wear a swimming cap. Pool safety rules must be followed. Children not swimming on a particular day will be supervised at school by other teachers. They will do school work set by their
class teacher. A note explaining the reason why students are not swimming will be required.
The cost for this activity, $50.00, includes bus transport, pool entry fee and swimming tuition. Our school subsidises the cost
using “Learn to Swim” funds provided by the Department of Education. Fees can be paid in iether one bulk payment of $50.00 prior to the commencement of the swimming program, or paid in part
payments to the office leading up to the swimming program. All fees must be paid before your child attends swim lessons. Unfortunately NO REFUNDS can be provided for missed lessons
Fees to be paid to the office or using BPoint details which are included on the invoice emailed to all parents. The fees are to be paid before the commencement of the swimming program. Return the parent consent form to the office for each child attending swimming lessons on or before the commencement of the swimming program (no later than the 9th of October). No child will attend swimming classes until his/her consent form has been received by the class teacher.
