QLD Governor Visits MWSS
Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM to Visit MWSS
Next Tuesday 23rd August our school will be hosting Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland. The Governor will be visiting our school from 1.45pm – 2.15pm and will address our entire school at an assembly at 1.45 sharp, as well as read a story to year one students, followed by a Q&A session with 5B students.
The Governor’s visit is a great honour for our school. Her Excellency will be accompanied by her husband Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD and our Mayor of Regional Council, Cr Greg Williamson.
All members of our community are welcome to attend the short assembly from 1.45 – 1.55pm to hear from Her Excellency. If you would like to attend, please arrive by 1.35pm at West Wing on the senior campus.
